DSM Avocats à la Cour is pleased to announce its membership in the Luxembourg Maritime Cluster (CML) and its participation in the New Members Event, which took place on 21 January at the Résidence de France in the presence of the French Ambassadress to Luxembourg, H.E. Madame Claire Lignières-Counathe. During the Maritime Cluster’s New Members Event, Mario Di Stefano and Renaud Le Squeren were able to exchange views with other members on current issues of interest to the maritime sector.

A member of the Luxembourg and Frankfurt am Main bar associations, he advises and assists a national and international clientele, in particular on corporate law, M&A, private equity, real estate law, tax consulting and disputes, as well as complex financings. He also has extensive expertise in the life science, logistics and ground transportation, and air and maritime sectors.
  • Renaud LE SQUEREN, Partner – Avocat à la Cour: With over 20 years of experience, Renaud co-manages DSM Avocats à la Cour’s Corporate M&A department alongside Mario DI STEFANO. He specializes in M&A, private equity, as well as corporate restructurings and governance. He regularly advises international companies, particularly private equity funds and family businesses in cross-border transactions. His expertise extends to the real estate, energy, digital and maritime sectors.
  • Alison FRONT, Senior Associate – Avocat à la Cour: Holding a degree in maritime law from the University of Western Brittany (Université de Bretagne Occidentale), Alison advises on digital, real estate, Corporate M&A and maritime law. She will also participate in Maritime Cluster events.

DSM Avocats à la Cour draws on the experience of Marc GLODT, Of Counsel – Avocat à la Cour. He is a regular participant in Maritime Cluster events. In his capacity as maritime affairs commissioner, Marc established the Maritime Affaires Commission in 1991, which a few years later became the first ISO-certified administration in Europe. Marc has served as governmental delegate with several international organizations and served as deputy permanent representative with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and member of the board of directors of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA). Marc has advised international businesses and institutional clients.

The Luxembourg Maritime Cluster

Created in 2008, the Luxembourg Maritime Cluster is a non-profit organization which promotes the Grand Duchy’s blue economy. Its members represent a wide range of expertise in the fields of shipping, brokerage, auditing, rail and maritime logistics, as well as safety.
