Counsels:

  • Matthieu VISSE, Avocat à la Cour, joined the firm in 2020 and works with local as well as international clients on a broad range of transactions in banking and financial law (corporate and real estate financing, and refinancings) as well as corporate law (M&A and fundraising).

Prior to joining DSM Avocats à la Cour, Mr. VISSE worked for several years as an associate in the corporate/M&A and banking law departments of several international law firms based in Luxembourg.

He holds a Masters 2 in Banking and Finance and a Master’s 2 in International Business Law from Paris Descartes University, and also earned an LLM in European Legal Studies from Cardiff University. Mr. VISSE speaks French and English.

  • Pierre-Siffrein GUILLET, Avocat à la Cour, he joined the firm in 2023 and handles complex transactions in banking and finance, capital markets, and corporate law/mergers and acquisitions, taking a cross-disciplinary approach that integrates tax law and business law. He has proven experience in structuring and executing high-value-added transactions, gained through both hands-on experience and strategic consulting. Before joining the firm, he founded and led a consulting firm in Switzerland and Luxembourg and served as Industry Leader – Family Office Services at IQ-EQ Luxembourg. He also served as Of Counsel at a Luxembourg law firm.

His background is further enriched by his academic experience as a professor and researcher in tax law and public law at Aix-Marseille III University, giving him a solid grasp of both the technical and theoretical aspects of the field. He holds a Ph.D. in tax law, as well as two Master’s 2 degrees—one in tax law and public finance and the other in tax law—from Aix-Marseille III University. Mr. GUILLET speaks French and English.

Avocat à la Cour :

  • Frédéric SEINCE – joined the firm in 2022 and is now Avocat à la Cour in the Commercial Law, Business Law, Corporate Law / Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax Law, Real Estate and Construction Law, and Life Sciences departments.

Prior to joining DSM Avocats à la Cour, Mr. SEINCE worked at a Big Four firm as an M&A tax specialist from 2000 to 2009, and at family offices as Head of Tax and Legal from 2010 to 2021. Mr. SEINCE holds a Professional Certificate in Real Estate from the Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg, as well as a Master II in European Law from the University of Tours, France. Mr. SEINCE speaks French and English.
