Me Marie-Paule Gillen made a presentation on financial secrecy in Luxembourg and recent developments at a conference organised by the French Comparative Law Center and EY Société d’Avocats, under the high patronage of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs dealing with financial secrecy.
In a world where transparency is a prevailing imperative, one asks whether financial secrecy still exists. The participants covered the topic from several perspectives (the fight against money laundering, fiscal transparency, market abuse detection, big data collection and processing).
The conference took place on Wednesday, 15 November 2017, on the EY premises at Tour First, 1, place des Saisons, F-92037 Paris-La Défense.
