In this unique context related to the COVID-19 public health crisis and generalized ̏home officeʺ working, associations are encountering the challenge of reorganizing crucial communication with their members, especially with respect to the holding of general meetings.
In an effort to actively contribute and stand united with the actors in Luxembourg’s associations, DSM Avocats à la Cour has established a pro bono practice area through IMS – Inspiring More Sustainability, Luxembourg.
IMS Luxembourg offers a program called ̏Part&Actʺ to its network members and their partners, with the goal of promoting partnerships between member businesses and Luxembourg’s network of associations.
DSM Avocats à la Cour has decided to become engaged through legal sponsorship by offering free assistance on legal issues to the Luxembourg Diabetes Association (Association Luxembourgeoise du Diabète or “ALD”), on such topics as the legal aspects of a virtual general meeting.
̏The current crisis has brought the notion of general interest to the forefront by exacerbating a need for engagement already existing in our society. It is important to make this spirit of solidarity last and we commit ourselves to continuing in that direction. We are glad to be able to use our experience in digital law and company law to the Luxembourg Diabetes Association’s benefitʺ, commented Renaud LE SQUEREN, Partner at DSM Avocats à la Cour.
