Download the Powerpoint here: DAC 6 Webinar DSM Avocats à la Cour Mario DI STEFANO Alex PHAM 15 07 2020

DSM Avocats à la Cour is pleased to invite you to participate in a free French-language Webinar on Wednesday, 15 July 2020 from 12:00 to 13:00 p.m. on the current topic of “DAC 6: What impact will it have on cross-border tax?.

Directive (EU) 2018/822 amending Directive 2011/16/UE as regards mandatory automatic exchange of information in the field of taxation in relation to reportable cross-border arrangements which provides for mandatory reporting (“DAC 6“) was transposed in Luxembourg by the Law of 25 March 2020 (the “DAC 6 Law“).

With the entry into force of the DAC 6 Law on 1 July 2020, and given the substantial fines to be incurred for non-compliance of the directive, fines of up to EUR 250 000, intermediaries and tax payers should familiarize themselves with the new reporting requirements.

To better understand the impact of this text on the Luxembourg financial marketplace, join us on 15 July 2020 for a Webinar where you can exchange with our two experts who will share with you their experience in the following areas:

  • What is the reporting requirement based on?
  • Who can be considered an “intermediary under the DAC 6 Law?
  • What are the main characteristics taken into account for identifying reportable cross-border transactions?
  • Implementation of the DAC 6 Directive in Luxembourg: What impact will it have on marketplace professionals?
